Wedding flowers

Flowers are a beautiful accent to any wedding from the bouquets for the bride and bridal party to decorating the church or ceremony location and the reception venue.

Do your best to purchase locally-grown organic flowers, native flowers or flowers in season.

For the environment, locally-grown flowers is the best criteria as it saves petrol and greenhouse gas emissions in transporting flowers from exotic locations.

A talented friend may be able to arrange the flowers for you or your florist may be happy to source organic flowers.

:: NW tip :: Organic flowers are not very common as yet in Australia, so try your local weekend organic or farmers markets. We've seen some great flowers at the Jan Powers' Farmers Markets in Brisbane.
